Autonet ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Autonet web application at https://autonet.computer. This Privacy Policy describes how we access, use, store, and share your information, including data obtained through Google APIs.

1. Data Accessed

When you connect your Google account to Autonet, we request access to the following Google user data:

• Google Calendar Events (calendar.events scope): We access your calendar events, including event titles, times, descriptions, attendees, and associated metadata, to view and manage events on your behalf.
• Google Tasks (tasks scope): We access your tasks, including task titles, notes, due dates, and completion status, to create, edit, organize, and manage tasks on your behalf.

We only request the minimum scopes necessary for the features you use within Autonet.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use Google user data exclusively for the following purposes:

• Calendar Events: To display your upcoming events, allow you to create or modify events, and coordinate scheduling through Autonet's AI assistant.
• Tasks: To display your tasks, allow you to create, edit, complete, and organize tasks through Autonet's AI assistant.

Autonet's agent framework runs as a local process on your machine and communicates directly with Google's APIs from your device. Your Google user data is never transmitted to Autonet's servers or any remote infrastructure operated by us.

To provide AI assistant functionality, your calendar and task data may be sent to a third-party AI model provider (such as OpenAI or Anthropic) as part of the context needed for the AI to reason about your schedule and tasks. You choose and configure which AI provider to use. Data sent to AI providers is governed by their respective privacy policies and data usage terms.

We do not use your Google user data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the app's core functionality.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your Google user data to any third parties.

Your Google user data is not transmitted to or through any servers operated by Autonet. However, your data may be shared with the following third parties as part of providing the Service:

• AI model providers: When you use Autonet's AI assistant to manage your schedule or tasks, relevant calendar and task data is sent to the AI model provider you have configured (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic). This data is sent solely for the purpose of generating AI responses and is subject to the provider's own privacy policy and data handling practices. Your device sends this data directly to the provider — it does not pass through Autonet's servers.

We do not share Google user data with analytics providers, advertising networks, or any other third-party services.

4. Data Storage and Protection

Your Google user data is stored and protected as follows:

• Local-only storage: All Google user data remains on your device. Autonet does not store your Google user data on any remote servers.
• Encryption in transit: All communication between your device and Google's APIs, as well as any AI model provider APIs, uses HTTPS/TLS encryption.
• OAuth 2.0 tokens: We use Google's OAuth 2.0 protocol for authentication. Access and refresh tokens are stored locally on your device and are used solely to authenticate with Google's APIs.
• No persistent cache: Calendar and task data is fetched in real-time from Google's APIs when needed and is held only in application memory during your active session. It is not written to disk or persisted between sessions.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

• Retention: OAuth tokens are stored locally on your device only while your Google account is connected to Autonet. Calendar and task data is held in memory during your active session and is discarded when the session ends.
• Revocation: You can disconnect your Google account and revoke Autonet's access at any time through your Google Account permissions page. Upon revocation, locally stored tokens are invalidated and no Google user data remains.
• Deletion: Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You may also contact us at the email address below if you need assistance. Uninstalling the Autonet agent removes all locally stored data, including OAuth tokens.

6. Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance

Autonet's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
